Let me tell you a story which gave me an insight on Leadership

Once I read a short story from a regional journal. Even, it was a short story, as an ambitious business owner, it attracted and gave me an insight on the topic Leadership. The story goes like this.

Once in a jungle there was a rabbit, it repaired damaged electronic articles of animals around the place. The working place of the rabbit had a reception area where it received the damaged articles and behind the reception there were 5 individual doors in which was written, and labeled on them as fridge, washing machine, mixer-grinder and Iron box respectively.

This rabbit used to take the articles through the doors only according to the label mentioned, got it repaired and delivered back. As days passed, these animals developed a curiosity to know what’s happening behind the doors and how the rabbit repaired it for them. One day a Jackal stealthily managed to enter through one of the doors. When it went inside, he was surprised to see 5 lions sitting in individual cabins and repairing those articles. The peculiarity was none of the lions, involved in multiple task. Means the lion who repaired iron box repaired only iron box. This story sends us three valuable messages

1.To be a leader the size, look, or physical strength doesn’t matter.

2.A leader must have the ability to manage his team members

3. It is the ability of a leader to identify the skills of his team members, so that he can delegate the right job to the right person.

Dear friends as we know, human resources management is one of the vital departments in a business. Its primary function is to recruit the right person for the right job. If the HR department ?is in sync with this goal, then it compliments growth of the business.
