Let me tell you about our last 25 years
The first Allos Office opened 25 years ago in Milan, Via Stephenson 43rd February 1992, by 5 partners who were attempting to create an Italian ecosystem for Learning and Digital Communications, based in Rome, Milan and Turin: Franco Vitucci, Raffaello Fasoli, Sergio Barbieri, Riccardo Vadalà, Rosario Troise.
The company took the name from an ancient greek word ?λλο? ( "other", “different”)(Thanks Sofia Gallo): this is how our customers often comment on the result of our work.
Allos has played a huge role in the development of all major programs for training, for telecommunications companies, and these have been laying the foundation of the new digital world: Sip, Motorola, Nokia, NEC, Italtel, Alcatel, Ericsson, NEC, to name only some. Allos developed the first editorial experiences on CD Rom for: Rizzoli, Utet, Mondadori, De Agostini, Milano Finanza.
The new plug Flash (by Macromedia), that would revolutionize the way we build websites, was presented for the first time in the Allos office in Italy.
We worked with the first commercial LMS systems: Telecom, Enel, Eni, to name some of the first customers, often powered by our own Data Center.
10 years later, Roberto De Rossi and Rosario Troise merged all activities from Allos, Dedalomedia and Real Training. The new Allos was based in an old Venetian Villa in Cittadella. Because of the growth of business, we moved to the actual location in Carmignano di Brenta.
Meanwhile, we opened two branches in South Africa and the United States, and act as an incubator for young entrepreneurs when we opened Nextep, ZERO12 and Anima Film.
Allos is now ready to go global, we joined the EOH family, with locations on all continents.
Last week colleagues from Eoh and SAP, as well as the management of Allos, gathered in Carmignano to celebrate the anniversary as well as to outline future developments.
In Italy you can do business! After 25 years, we at Allos we strongly believe in this project and we feel obliged to strive towards a better future, designing ethical, sustainable, open and innovative business models that can produce fruits for our current and future customers, employees and partners.
Congrats Rosario and all the best for the next 25 years and beyond!
