BIBLE?READING:?Proverbs 3:1-4.

1? My son, forget not My Law; but let thine heart keep My Commandments:

2? For Length of Days, and Long Life, and Peace, shall they add to thee.

3? Let not Mercy and Truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

4? So shalt thou find Favour and Good Understanding in The Sight of God and man.

MESSAGE:

A. ??There are many people who could have succeeded in life if they had the privilege of being guided aright.?

1??Favour and other good things of life have eluded some ‘believers’ all though their lives and they wonder why.?

2??They do not know that the key to unlocking our desires is hidden in God’s Word.?

3??Proverbs 4:20-22 says:

“My son, attend to My Words; incline thine ear unto My Sayings.?

4??Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.?

5? For they are Life unto those that find them, and Health to all their flesh.”

6??The Power in The Word of God cannot be overemphasized.?

7??John 1:1,3 captures it beautifully. It says:

“ In the beginning was the Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.”?

8??In other words, everything, man inclusive, was made by The Word of God.?

B. ???Our Lord Jesus, in Today’s Memory Verse corroborates The Scripture above by assuring us that His Words are Spirit and Life-giving. If we would abide in them.?

1?. Thus, if anyone wants Favour and Long life, the fellow must be “Word compliant” – he or she must be complaint with the Word of God (Jesus).?

2??Anyone who deviates from the Word that created him would lose Divine Favour and Long life.?

3??Adam deviated and although he lived for nine hundred and thirty years, we see that in reality, because he lived for less that a thousand years, he lived for less than a day in the eyes of the Lord.

4??2 Peter 3:8 says “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with The Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

5? ?Beloved, no witch or wizard can kill you if you abide by the wonder-working Word of The Living God.?

6??Some people have been deceived: they now believe that The Law of God is of no importance anymore because we are in The Dispensation of Grace. ?

7??Paul had seen this and warned against people taking grace for granted. ?

8??In Romans 6:1-2 He Says

we Dead to Sin, Alive to God.

9??What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound??

10??Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

C.??Apart from Divine Prosperity Favour and Long life on earth, Eternal Life is guaranteed when we abide by The Word of God, as we see in John 17:8, 14-15.?

1??For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.?

2??I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

3??Beloved, I encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ- The Word and Wisdom of God, today, if you haven’t done so.?

4??If you have, constantly renew your mind through The Word of God and your life will be filled with Miracles.?
