“Let Hurt In”

(W)ord    Revelation 3:20   “I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me.”

(O)bservation  I want to introduce another verse that I feel must go along with today’s W.O.R.D.  Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given you; seek and you will find; KNOCK and it shall be open to you.”  Here is an observation that is so obvious that I have missed it every time. Both verses talk about a door. It talks about the possibility and promise of the door being able to be opened. Here is the OBSERVATION. Look at each verse and notice WHO is the one outside the door and who has the option to open the door. In Revelation, Jesus is doing the KNOCKING, and we have the choice to open the door. In Matthew it is the opposite. We are standing outside the door and Jesus is the one who has the choice to open the door and “HE” always will.

(R)response    Hurt, Pain, Suffering along with Joy, Love and Happiness enter through the same door. We can keep the door shut, and that might ease the pain and sufferings. BUT it also limits the access where Love, Peace and Happiness are also wanting to come in. All I am saying is; GIVE HIM A CHANCE” Remember His promise HE made in today’s W.O.R.D. He is knocking. Go ahead, By Faith, take HIM at His word and open the door.

(D)ialogue   LORD and my best FRIEND… I hear you knocking. COME IN. My door is always open. And if it is locked, please use your MASTER key and come in anyway.

We will talk again soon and often and I will be listening for your knocking. YOUR TURN
