Supply met Demand,

..and blushed.

Where were you all these days?

...emotions rushed.

I was looking for you,

...hesitated and lied.

A hard stare of eyes,

...caught 'honesty' belied.

Returning from a voyage,

...dazed and crushed.

From a rough journey,

...feeling madly disturbed.

My God, what happened?

...she asked, deeply concerned.

But take rest, for now.

... love caringly, nurtured.

Ventured afar for diced fun,

...lost in regions unaccustomed.

In the lure and decoy

...felt totally enticed.

The bait was laid,

...competition her name.

Got tangled and swayed,

...unanticipated and engaged.

Submerged in cheap greed,

...by a hand of miss deed

Short-sighted that I was,

...my delight short-lived.

The stakes inverted soon,

..his dance, out of tune.

Was left high and dry,

..cold-hearted and faked.

With nowhere to run or hide,

...from a disillusioned ride.

Unwanted and isolated,

... misdemeanour realized.

Wowed, to never again have

...love and loyalty betrayed.

Owe you an apology now,

...her forgiveness, he begged.

Supply felt shocked,

..by her phoney who mocked.

A treacherous disruption,

...left her soul hurt and rocked.

Ached and muted, she walked asway,

...far from fulfilment, far away.

Rain iced, draught cried,

...dead horizon, the only sight.

...end of Supply and Demand?

You bet, No! Love economy survived.

They both returned and revived,

embracing quality, over price!

Time dissolved everything,

but wisdom and bind.

Unlike Demand, who wavered ago,

Supply never lied, nor let it go!
