"LET IT GO"

I launched STOK in 2004, providing bespoke logistic and inventory services to just one medical device manufacturer. Fifteen years later STOK now operates in over eleven European countries, supporting many global manufacturers as well as the NHS. I could never have imagined at the beginning how far the business would come.

Having been there at the start and seen the success it has become today, I feel now is a good time to 'let it go'.

This has not been an easy decision to make but I truly feel it’s the right one. I have lived and breathed STOK morning, noon and night (don’t get me wrong - I wouldn’t have had it any other way) and I am extremely proud of what’s been achieved.

 “WE DID IT.”

I say ‘WE’ as no one person could have achieved this much alone, and I didn’t. I will always be indebted to all those who played a part in making STOK what it is today. A special mention of thanks most go to David Royle.

Not only do you need a supportive group of individuals to buy into your vision and deliver it, you need customers who welcome it. To our customers, I thank you for embracing my vision and for supporting me through not just the good times, but also the difficult ones.

I think the word partnership is a highly over used one, however in my case it’s been a truly accurate way to describe how we built the business at STOK. I will certainly miss my colleagues (a better description would be friends), along with the many friendships built amongst my customers; I hope our friendships will continue far beyond the end of the year when I leave the business.

As for me, who knows – let’s just see what the future holds………..I am excited about the unknown.
