Let go, Fear less, Trust more

One of the happiest moments in your life is when you

                      find the courage to let go of what you can’t change.

My friend Divya starts worrying about every little thing on earth. Say if her home Power goes wrong or say if there’s nobody around her if the place is left alone, and she also feels restless when she don’t remember a person’s name who has got nothing to do with her, she would call me up anxiously, as if the whole world has fallen apart. Really, there is nothing worse than not being able to enjoy life because something is stuck in your head that won’t go away.

Worrying can be helpful when it wants you to take action and solve a problem. But if you’re distracted and concerned with ‘what ifs’, worry becomes a problem. Not giving way to kindness doubts and fears can be incapable for the moment. They can weaken your emotional energy, send your anxiety level into high, and interfere with your daily life.

You can train your mind to stay calm and look at life from a more positive perspective.

Negativity is only hurting you – no one else. It just drains you emotionally and distracts you from the most important things of life. It is sucking away the motivation that you could otherwise apply towards something positive and productive, like feeling gratitude for what you do have in your life. counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and accept everything that you receive.

In reality, my friend’s all forms of worry represent in lack of trust. You are unable to trust in the goodness of life. Even though things could turn out in a number of ways, you have a tendency to believe that things are going to turn out negative rather than positive.

What you can do in order to help yourself stop worrying…

1. Ask yourself if the problem is solvable

2. Challenge the reality of anxious thoughts

3. Accept uncertainty

4. Focus on the present rather than the past or future

5. Keep your worrying to one-time period during the day.

So just today make a promise to yourself to reduce your anxiety levels. It starts with your choice and nothing else. Look at yourself and say, Calm down. Things are going to be fine. Things are going to be all great. Just relax. And believe me, your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer.
