Let Go of Control—Find Freedom in Life’s Chaos
I know it sounds a bit strange, but stick with me for a moment.
Most people waste a HUGE amount of energy chasing things they think they want, but don’t truly want.
Let me break it down…
A lot of people say they want things.
They want to earn more money…
Get more clients…
Build a successful business…
Create a strong team…
Or lose weight and get fit…
Improve their health…
…and so on.
And if I asked you right now, you could probably list a few simple steps to start working toward those goals.
But here’s the thing: most of the time, you don’t take those steps.
Why?
Because you’ve fallen into the habit of wanting to want it, more than actually wanting it.
You’re more attached to the idea of wanting than to the actual outcome.
You’ve gotten comfortable with the feeling of wanting.
It feels familiar, safe, and even productive.
But it’s not.
Having what you want is a whole different story.
Doing what it takes to get there is another challenge entirely.
So, you can keep telling yourself you “want” something, but the truth is, you don’t really want the thing—you just like the idea of wanting it.
And that’s okay. I’m not judging you.
I just want you to be honest with yourself.
Because when you stop pretending to want things you don’t truly care about, you free up SO much energy to focus on the things you really want.
