The lessons we learn in our careers.

I did a podcast just before Christmas, which goes live next week for everyone to listen to; it takes these moments in our busy lives to make us stop and think about what we have learnt in our careers. As I filled several pages of my notebook ahead of the podcast, I decided also to convert these to a blog to help others as they reflect wherever they are on their career journey.

My Reflections on my Career to date, The Influence of People:

Throughout our careers, we cross paths with numerous individuals who leave indelible imprints on our personal and professional development. Managers, colleagues, clients, and subordinates influence our perspectives, providing invaluable knowledge, insights, and support. We observe successful peers and learn to adapt their strategies and acquire new skills. Similarly, interactions with talented mentors nurture us, helping us grow beyond our comfort zones and unlocking our potential.

Times of Change:

The landscape of every industry undergoes continuous evolution. Technological advancements, economic fluctuations, and societal shifts shape the world we work in. As professionals, staying abreast of these changes and adapting accordingly is essential.
