Lessons Learned
I have learned so much over the past couple of years. First and foremost, trust your gut. If something seems to good to be true it most likely is. Second lesson Cherish your true friends those who will not run when the times get tough; those who will listen to all you have to say and if nothing else are just there to listen. People tend to feel they have to impart words of wisdom and try to come up with clever things when in reality sometimes just listening is saying more than any words they can possibly come up with. Third Lesson, is to recognize the negative in your life and what the causes are and remove them from your life, no matter how hard it might seem.
Fourth lesson is to be thankful for the little joys of life--freedom, sunshine, laughter and even crying. There is so much to be thankful for in each of our lives even during trying times. Fifth lesson is to live life with integrity even if it is difficult to deal with the consequences, if you know its the right thing to do, then do it regardless of what others might say or think.
No matter what happens don't be afraid to fail. Failure is a step towards success. It is difficult when in the middle of the storm to recognize that failure can be a positive motivating force in your life. Ultimately as you pick up the pieces it becomes clear that what you once thought of being an impossible thing that seems to be ruining your life is actually the foundation for moving forward after you hit what seems like the bottom. Make that "bottom" the foundation for building your steps towards ultimate success. It can be done.
