7 年This brought tears to my eyes but I'm glad I took the time to read it. My parents both died within the past year and it can be an agonizing thing to watch. It was especially hard with my mom. She had polio during the first year of their marriage and she struggled the rest of her life due to the effects of that disease. To watch someone you love struggle for their breath when their whole life has been a struggle just rips your heart out. Thank you for the article, it was very well written.
