Here is a quick reflection on some of the lessons I’ve learned as the founder of Triangle Solutions Consulting:
What did I do?
This quarter I simultaneously made progress on projects for existing clients and developed ideas for projects with new clients. As I work to finalize a few key deliverables, I am excited to share more about the products and services I am helping to build for clients. More to come next quarter…
Lesson: Time is my most valuable resource. Managing my time is critical to ensuring that each client project and operational part of the business receives adequate attention without burning out.??
What went well?
The marketing and business development I have done to date has focused on deepening existing relationships while developing new connections organically. So far, I have been able to stay busy without the need for advertising or cold outreach.?

Lesson: For me, building authentic relationships is more valuable than spending time doing cold outreach.???
What could be improved?
I love working on a variety of different projects, and as a freelance consultant, my only limitation is my own capacity. As my business grows, I will either need to limit the number and scope of projects that I am working on or broaden my base of support.
Lesson: As a sole proprietor, I look forward to testing new ways of leveraging my network to add even more value and impact for clients.
