Lessons learned
During the manoeuvre and before the ship is floated into the dock in preparation for its exit, the ship's supervisor calls the dockmaster to descend 2 cm into the dock, which is an unusual depth. It turns out in the end that the ship's supervisor was drunk during the manoeuvre, which is against the applicable regulations and laws.
