Lessons I learned from Chef’s table series and how they resonate with marketing

If you haven’t watched Chef's Table on Netflix, I suggest that you should!

This food documentary series will take you around the world and will introduce you to some of the most extraordinary chefs – their lives, beliefs, struggles, philosophies, and of course -their cuisines.

You will be get acquainted to what’s inside the kitchens and minds of the international culinary stars who are redefining gourmet food.

While I watched the different seasons, apart from being in awe with the scenery and the storytelling, I've learned quite about leadership from a different perspective—and identified some lessons that can be applied in our everyday lives as marketers as well.

Here are my takeaways that resonate in my heart and mind:

-???????Do everything with passion – the results and the success – sooner or later will certainly follow.

-???????Dare to dream crazy – you have to take the risk if you want to bring something new and different “to the table”.

-???????The road to success is littered with failure sometimes -if you have not failed, you have not risked enough and attempted something different and outstanding.

-???????The stunning success usually takes years of efforts and dedication- each of these master chefs have spent decades perfecting their craft, have encountered rejection, and misunderstanding but kept on following in their dreams.

-???????The world is big, and inspiration lurks around the corner - ?listen carefully, appreciate the different and be unique. Go back to your roots, pay attention to the traditions and local and stay true to ourselves no matter the trends. Being authentic is crucial.

-???????Keep going to introduce great products to the market - if and when you create something exceptional , the world will recognize it.
