Lessons From My First 50 Linkedin Articles

Lessons From My First 50 Linkedin Articles

I made it. I never set out to write 50 articles on LinkedIn but then I got the idea to use LinkedIn to promote my business Launchpoint. I sell landing pages to business owners. I also try to educate business owners about the benefits of using landing pages to promote their businesses. That turned into 50 articles and counting. I know I have a lot more to learn but here are some of the things I’ve learned about business on LinkedIn.

Don’t live and die on the number of Impressions, Views, Comments, & Follows you get or don’t get. This ain’t instagram! Nothing personal. It’s just business.

This is work. Just like work you need to put in the time. Not just any kind of time. Quality time. You also have to respect and encourage your coworkers. They like lmpressions, Views, Follows, and Quality Comments too. Constructive criticism could be good. Read the room.

Connecting is important and I’m terrible at it. Thanks for consistently reaching out Gilbert Miralo & Fast Simon . Thanks for being there & for acknowledging my work. This isn’t about validation so much as it’s about, “Dang! Does anybody even see my stuff?” Btw, you too Stacey Mars, MBA . I’m going to try to do better.

I have to figure out how to be me in my articles. I do a lot of the sales in salesman but I need to bring out more of the man in this salesman.

‘Don’t get overwhelmed by gurus. Thank you all for your help. I mean that. But there are sooooo many of you that I go down the guru rabbit hole rather than working. Is that a catch-22? I’m not working because I’m learning but Im not learning if I’m always working.

I’m glad I’ve been able to write 50 articles but I hope they’ll be helpful and haven’t been spam. But like everyone else, i have to figure out how to work within the algorithm to make it work for me and for you.

Here’s to the next..,
