Lessons from my failures make my connection to you more valuable.

I've had many failures. Far more swings and misses than hits. Significant successes have come over time though. They are not always monetary.

They are primarily relationship successes. Wisdom gleaned from the humility from my lessons from failure have led me to be better at relationships.

I have been thinking lately about the people who are significantly contributing to my life. They are the ones that challenge me. They are the truth tellers. They are the people that aren't afraid to tell me my babies are ugly. Meaning my webinars, software rollouts, articles, etc.

Without having failures and without having taken away lessons from those failures, I would not have the context and experiences that may my connection to you valuable.

I can talk to you and actually listen. Thanks to failure's lessons.

I can learn from your presentations. Thanks to failure's lessons.

I can read your posts and articles and receive value. Thanks to failure's lessons.

Your value to me is greatly enhanced. Thanks to my failures and the lessons they've taught.

Why are your connections valuable to you?

I hope it is not just because you hope they send you business. For me, you, as my connection contribute much. You are a source of inspiration. You are a source of knowledge. Even those of you who don't manage your relationships well or grow them the same way I would, lead me to think about how I manage my relationships.

When you blow me off, I'm reminded I may not be adding enough value to you as of yet.

When you reach out with an offer or a wish for a meeting with no context or research having been done, you remind me not to waste my time.

There is much to be gained from our relationship if I view it through the lens of my own failures and the lessons I have learned.
