Lessons From Mother Nature

How To Find Your Right Next Step?

When my mind is overthinking things, I’m able to step out of that by simply observing Mother Nature.?For example, my mind was racing with my to-do list and the logistics of projects.?As I stepped out in nature, I took in the sights, smells, and sounds.?It was a crisp morning, blue sky, the sun shining on my face, and the birds flying above.

I looked down and noticed a fresh new fern growing. Many ferns had already unfurled.?But this one was starting to unfold.?

The neatly packed circles soon would unfurl, grow upwards, stretching towards the sky.?As I observed this, the phrase?“let things unfold”?came to me.?This simple phrase reminded me to let each moment of life unfold and then it would lead me to my right next step.

Oprah says the best way to face our challenges is to get “still” in order to see our right next step.??She says then the next right step will unfold after that and so forth. This practice reminds me of why I named my business “StillnessBlooms”.?Because in the stillness the next right step appears, and this leads to blooming beautifully.

Are you looking for your right next step? Connect with nature and see what unfolds for you.???

Great analogy Cindy Gunraj (she-her) and reminder to slow down, which is not a strength of mine:)

What a lovely reflection, Cindy Gunraj (she-her). Letting things unfold is sometimes difficult for me (I tend to rush in and start unpacking!).
