Lessons from the Apple Genius Bar: why working with an official Databricks partner matters.

How often have you read that ‘data is the new gold’ or ‘data is your most important asset’? In that spirit it surely is vital to select the right partner for your data platform. A comparison can be drawn with getting your iPhone fixed (to many also one of their most precious assets).

We all know the one: it has a blinking sign on the outside, looks like it deals things under the counter, and doubles up as a UPS or Homerr pick-up point. They prevent overspending on resources or inefficient use of the platform. Why am I writing about this?

At RevoData we've encountered several instances in the past few weeks where we've been called in to fix issues that arose from non-partner implementations and could have so easily been prevented from the start.
