A Lesson in "No, You Can't Handle It

Grew up in this area. It is hilly, and the roads were laid out in the days of horse drawn carriages. And the laws in that specific area keep them that way. In my misspent youth I certainly raced on these roads, sometimes in some very powerful custom modified Sports Cars (nothing quite in this class, though), and this particular road is a beast. It has rapid changes in elevation, variable radius and blind curves, spots which flood, and one lane bridges all on a 1 1/2 lane road. There are also a number of large trees a few inches off the road in spots. Ergo - It is a challenge and blast to drive!
The trees there quite frequently make the acquaintance of pretenders and the foolish. Have seen more than a few Jags, Corvettes, and Porsches meet their ends there back in the day.
This one was actually the "Entry Level" McLaren, only around $300k. This one lasted less than 24 hours...
