Was in the gas station with Colton and we were waiting in line.
There’s a slow ass person in front of us, and while we were waiting on her, a man got in line behind us.
Colton looks at me and says loud AF “that man behind us is missing an arm”
The man looks at me and quickly says “That’s right buddy, you gotta wear your seatbelt. I didn’t have mine on and I flew threw the windshield and lost my arm. Buckle up buddy”
I said “kids just say anything”
He says “I know I got 6 of them”
He could have complained my son mentioned his “affliction” but instead he choose to make it a positive moment with a lesson and impact.
I believe that’s why God does the things he does. So that we can learn and others around us can be the teachers.
Soon as we got back in the car, Colton buckled up. I could tell he sensed how important it was to do so.
When shit happens in life, you can be bitter or you can make people better. Teaching your lesson helps others be better.
