Lesson I learnt from Coronavirus – “We don’t know anything”.
Human Ignorance exposed by Covid 19:
We humans are ignorant and idiots. We, who, don’t know anything but highly pretend that we have all the answers. We are very quick in concluding everything by our limited knowledge and Covid 19 proved it right. This sort of realization is my Covid takeaway.
Just for a moment think that if the mortality that America and Europe is facing, was being faced by Asian or African countries - than we all would have conveniently concluded by saying that they (We) have poor medical infrastructure, less Dr-Patient ratio, lack of social distance and hygiene issues etc. There won’t be any confusion with world about the reason of such high mortality, in case it was, with Asia or Africa.
It was said that Astrologers and Economics don’t know anything. “The only function of economic forecasting is to make astrology look respectable” - John Kenneth Galbraith, once said. … and now we have new sort of group say “Medical Astrologer”. (By the way “Medical Astrology” is legal term that define as the Astrology that deals with Health and Longevity issues). As with astrology in general, predictions are vague and hard dates are rarely given. Same is the global scenario with coronavirus epidemic now.
Our Doctor, Pharma scientist and Government has same coronavirus knowledge as general public; which is nearly "Zero". Due to that we are facing lots of confusion but nobody says “I/We” don’t know. Our Government pretends that they know and give us remedies to follow. It's said that 7 out of 10 corona tests are false. Tanzanian President tested Covid-19 Testing Kits with sample from Goat and Fruits and same came out as +Positive.
It seems we don’t know answer of following:
1. Why USA has highest death (28% of world death) and covid numbers (Appro 1/3 of world)?
2. Why developed country likes Canada’s death rate is double than India with similar number of cases?
3. Why Russia with 3rd highest covid cases has 10% (1/10th) death compared to Spain who has second highest covid number?
4. Pakistan cases is slightly higher than 1st world country like Switzerland though Swiss death is double than Pakistan, How?
I am sure we don’t have answers to the above questions but, one can give his / her Point of view.
How we can use this experience further in our life?:-
Many times, we believe professional blindly as they come to us in proper uniform pretending they know everything; this includes Economist, Doctor, Chartered Accountants A’s etc. Don’t fully trusts them; use your mind, after all its our money and life.
At last, I don’t know much and don’t trust or believe my word. It's just my opinion.

4 年This is the time for the world to understand that those who are less developed have their way of dealing with health and they have been doing so for a number of decades. This is what is happening now in Asia and Africa, people have gone back and applied their ancestral approach to fight this pandemic. So far Madagascar has proven to cure it and many more have developed different ways to prevent it..... Time will tell and as you well said, everyone should learn to listen and decide on themselves.... God knows??

4 年Adding here my POV... we don't know... if I can share a small point of view here it all depends upon how the data is recorded and how it is presented in real-time... 4 年Good thoughts for me I think environment and genetic factor even diet plays a role in covid 19 recovery and death, but we will continue to hope that very soon we get solution this panademic.
