A LESSON FROM BISHOP T.D JAKES
A FEW LESSONS YOU SHOULD LEARN
A few days ago, Bishop T.D Jakes passed over the WTAL torch to Sarah his daughter.?Now, here is something I think you should know.
T.D Jakes daughter, Sarah, was pregnant at the age of 14.
Before you imagine how that can affect the ministry, think of the person involved. A pastor's daughter!
If this happened in a typical African home, there is every probability that the father would disown his daughter for bringing shame and soiling the family name or the mother would would play the blame game.
Let's not talk about the eyes in church that will stare, the gossips that will fly around, the stigma or the disgrace she'll constantly be reminded of.
Surprisingly, he handled it it a way that she came back to the right path.
I hope you get the message.
? Judge Not.
Dear parents, even if your child has made a mistake, do not abandon her. There's still a beautiful message in that mess.
? Greater Glory, Bigger Battle
No one rises to the top without a story. Challenges must come. Opposition must arise. In all, you are more than a conqueror.
? Be courageous
Will it be hard? Yes it will.
Will there be tough times? Of course.
Will there be bad times? Definitely
But you must learn to encourage yourself.
? You are a STAR
Every child must know this. Stars become visible at night. Light shines brightest when it's darkest. Seeds must be die in the dark soil to grow.
Dear parents, teachers, and educators, please let your teens know that they are made for more!
This is why we are donating copies of The Girls' Book of Life (A handbook for female teenagers) to one million girls. Your financial support will help transform the life of a girl.
