Lesser-Known Hack to Explode Your Open Rates

We are going to talk about another email marketing hack and that will help you to increase your open rates.

In the last article, we talked about the email subject line but in this article, we are going to talk about the second email subject line.

?Now, if you’ve ever done email marketing, you would have never heard about the second email subject line or seen it inside any tool.

In fact, you had been receiving emails for years but you have seen noticed any second email subject line.

But there is actually a second subject line that you can use. But for that, you need to think like a marketer.?

Let’s suppose your email subject line is, for example, “This is an Instagram automation suite”.

So, if you open on the desktop, your subject line is written in bold and you’ll notice some other words written after the main subject line.?

The other words that you see after the main subject line are basically the content of your email. Let’s suppose I write “Hi there, Saurabh this side…” at the beginning of my email.

Then these few words will appear after your subject line before a person opens your email in unbold.

?What you can do is…

?At the top of your email, you can write certain words which trigger more curiosity to open your email.

?Instead of starting with something like “Hi There! Saurabh Bhatnagar this side or XYZ…” at the top of your email,

write some words that increase the probability of your emails being opened because these words would be visible to your email recipient before opening your emails.

?Let’s suppose if the subject line is “This is an Instagram automation suite”, in the second subject line,

I can add something like “This one thing can help you explode your Instagram traffic and revenue”

If you see, this is much better than? “Hi There! Saurabh Bhatnagar this side”.

This statement will have no effect on the reader. But. if the reader has read the subject line, he is ready or not ready to open the email.

After reading this one more line, he is more excited about opening this email.?

So, as a marketer, you can utilize each and every space that is being given to you.?

However, these lines might not look good at the top of your email.?

?What you can do is, add this line on the top of your marketing email and make the text color similar to the background color (which is usually white).

?When someone opens the email, no one would be able to see it, but from outside when the email is not opened, it would be visible as it is the topmost text.?

So the person will read it, and this will increase the probability of your email getting opened.

I use Active campaign for my email marketing. Inside the Active campaign, there is an inbuilt feature to put in the second subject line.

?They don’t call it the second subject line, it’s an internal term that I use but they allow you to put this second subject line.

?So if your email marketing tool allows you to do that (in mine, the active campaign allows me to do that), but it does not, there is a hack that I shared with you.

You can put the text at the top of your email content and make it white in color so the email openers won’t be able to see it but it will be visible from outside.

?At the same time, this second subject line is also visible on mobiles. So if you open your emails on the phone by opening Gmail, you’ll see the subject line in bold and the second subject line as an unbold text. But it’s still visible.

?Thus, ultimately that is a thing that you can utilize as a marketer and that is something that will ultimately be going to help you get more opens.

?And you know more email open rates are equals to more revenue.

?So this is a very good email marketing hack that always works for me and it is going to work for you as well and help you generate more revenue.
