Growing up as a young, ambitious speaker, I always looked up to Les Brown. To me, he was—and still is—the Michael Jordan of motivational speaking. His voice boomed from cassette tapes, radio broadcasts, and conference stages, lighting a spark in me to want to inspire others. I’d study his cadence, passion, and the way he seemed to speak directly to the souls of his audience. I never imagined that one day I’d share a stage with him.

But life has a funny way of surprising us. A few months ago, I got a phone call that I never expected. It was Les Brown himself on the other end of the line. He told me something that still echoes in my mind:

“There is no success without a successor.”

Those words gave me chills. Coming from him, it felt like a call to step into a larger purpose. From that conversation, the idea for the Legacy Tour was born.
