Jenny:?“What does servant leadership mean to you personally?”
Caden:?"To me, servant leadership means prioritizing the needs of others and creating an environment where they can thrive. My personal experience navigating my family's health challenges taught me the power of empathy, action, and impact. Seeing how support and care lead to meaningful results is one of the most rewarding aspects of leadership—it’s about lifting others up and empowering them to achieve their best." Jenny:?"Share a brief anecdote or personal experience about how you’ve practiced or observed Servant Leadership in your own life".
Caden: "Throughout my life, whether caddying at a country club, running my first small business shoveling driveways, or helping find ways to best insure healthcare professionals during my internship, a common thread has always been serving others. As a Teaching Assistant for MGMT 295 at Purdue, I’ve found immense fulfillment in guiding students toward securing internships and full-time roles. These experiences have consistently reinforced the value of putting others' needs first—whether it’s providing guidance, ensuring peace of mind, or offering support. To me, servant leadership is about creating opportunities and delivering solutions that make a meaningful impact in the lives of others."
