LENZ Sports Group Expands 2025 Events Slate

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. - October 22, 2024 - LENZ Sports Group has announced today that the company's tournaments leg, LENZ Events, is expanding it's 2025 events slate. Following a successful pair of events ran this past fall, LENZ is growing it's partnership with Newtown Edgmont. "I don't think we could have asked for a better partnership than what we have with Newtown Edgmont. Watching the fall events unfold into how we envisioned them was really awesome, and our team is pumped to offer more experiences for the athletes next year" says Co-Founder Matt Wray .

LENZ Events will be having 8 baseball tournaments throughout the 2025 calendar season, offering options for ages 8U through 13U. There will be a mix of traditional 3 day tournament formats, as well as unique types of events with week long summer tournaments, and events that offer players experiences such as skills challenges and home run derbies. "We want to push the envelop with new ideas at our tournaments. Between having the players mic'd up, and having pre/post game interviews, we want the tournaments to feel as much like All Star Weekend for the players as possible" says LENZ Co-Founder Michael Palumbo .

The tournaments are going to be broken up between the Spring 2025, Summer 2025, and Fall 2025, with a mix of 3 and 5 day events. The dates are as follows:

Spring 2025 Tournaments:

Mainline Madness March 28th to March 30th

Mother's Day Special May 9th to May 11th

Memorial Day Weekend Slugfest May 23rd to 25th

Summer 2025 Tournaments:

Fahrenheit Frenzy July 18th to July 20th

Diamonds of Delco July 22nd to July 27th

Fall 2025 Tournaments:

Newtown Funk September 6th to September 8th

Suburban Showdown September 19th to September 21st

Malice in the Mainline October 10th to October 12th

The events will be hosted again at Newtown Edgmont, Jack Daly Baseball Complex in Newtown Square, and LENZ will also find ways to incorporate other local little league's as well. "As these continue to grow, our plan will be to incorporate partnership and sponsorship opportunities with local and regional companies. Our goal will continue to be finding ways to leverage the amazing community this area has to offer" says Wray.
