Bio and Background

I started my career at IBM back in 2005 whilst I was a student of Mechanical Engineering. I held various international roles in the sales operations department. I moved to Lenovo with the System X acquisition in 2015 and since then I have been in several operations roles and recently moved to sales. I am a mother to a 5 year old boy ??

What honors, awards or commendations have You won over the past year?

I have a won a few! Worldwide Lenovo Individual Excellence Award, EMEA ISG Channel Trusted Advisor Award, EMEA ISG Entrepreneurship Champion

What achievements in Your career are You the most proud of?

With EMEA and Worldwide, I helped to successfully drive several very complicated transformation projects, to execute the creation of new SMB programs and promotions.

What's Your favorite way to de-stress?

Spending time with my family, and running after my kid. It’s exhausting, but also helps reduce stress ??

What goals have you set for Your own professional development this year? What new skill sets have You added, or training are You taking?

As I’m responsible for a territory which consists of several countries, I will mainly focus on improving brand awareness, further improve relationships with our channel community and drive Lenovo growth for emerging countries. I’m a true believer in learning by experience so I will continue to work on further developing my sales skills too.

What's one workplace rule that You always break and why?

Closing my laptop on time… unfortunately I’m too passionate about getting things closed in the same day.

How did You adapt to the extra work-related stresses that stemmed from the pandemic?

I think we are all experiencing the issues of the pandemic, globally, and are being presented with unprecedented challenges, so I also think we are all adapting every day to resolve current issues.

Describe a time during Your career when You doubted Your abilities or qualifications and how You overcame that challenge.

There was a period some years ago with lots of changes… there were times I doubted my ability to produce quality work on time, rather than my skills. However, over the years I’ve worked here, I now understand it is just a wave and every wave has its end.

What tips do You have for boosting Your professional social media presence this year?

It’s really important to be more active and visible on social media, so that your full professional community has an overview of what we can offer customers and how great the company is.

What shows have You recently binge-watched? What was Your favorite and why?

I’m not a big fan of TV shows. I want to spend less time in front of a screen so I can spend my time outside of work with my family.
