Content Creation in the Future of Work Industry | Hubs for Remote Workers in????????????
Hello everyone,
I hope you are fine!
Just one month to go before our Autumn Workation in Lenk officially kicks off on the 16th of October! There are still apartments available, starting from just €1550 for the first month, €1250 for the second month, and €850 for the third month. To get more information or reserve your spot, please feel free to reach out to us by using the contact form provided here.
For this newsletter, I thought it was worth openly addressing some frequently asked questions, so here it is!??
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Is the pricing for 1 or 2 people? The pricing is per apartment. Whether you come solo or as a couple, the pricing remains the same. The apartment is for you only! You won't have to share your bedroom/bathroom with anyone else.
2. Will there be a community there? Absolutely! You'll have the opportunity to cowork with other digital nomads, remote workers, and entrepreneurs. While it's our first edition, we're excited to form a dynamic and interesting group where you can forge close and lifelong connections during your stay. We're also preparing activities for you to connect with the locals through sports and social events.
3. I've never heard of Lenk. What type of village is it? Lenk is a charming village nestled in the Swiss Alps, surrounded by breathtaking mountains. It's a privileged destination for Swiss people during the winter and summer. However, during the autumn and spring seasons, it's less crowded with tourists, making it the perfect spot for our Workation hub. The village is modern, and public transportation, including buses and trains, is very convenient. Lenk is home to approximately 2300 inhabitants.

4. How to get the most out of the mountains? Lenk offers over 20 hiking trails that start right from the village, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the mountains daily. The train and bus station are conveniently located just 2 minutes away from our headquarters at Hotel Sternen. We'll also organize hikes and trips to other cities and mountains, such as Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and Interlaken.
5. How far is the closest big city? The capital of Switzerland, Bern, is just 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Lenk. You'll also have the opportunity to explore other nearby cities like Montreux, Lausanne, along the shores of Lake Geneva.
6. Where exactly will I stay? You'll be staying at Hotel Sternen, hosted by Ferienlenk, a top-quality accommodation provider based in Lenk. Hotel Sternen is conveniently located in the heart of Lenk, close to the train/bus station, shops, and all amenities. You'll also have a dedicated and knowledgeable community builder to assist with any requests you might have (we'll introduce you to him in our next newsletter).
7. Do I have access to a kitchen? Yes, you'll have access to both your own private kitchen (in your 1BR apartment) and common kitchens.
8. Is there any supermarket nearby? The nearest large supermarket, Coop, is just a 3-minute walk from Hotel Sternen, where you can find everything you need for grocery shopping. Additionally, there are local small shops, including a butcher, cheese shop, and small supermarket just a few meters away from Sternen. You'll also have access to a large Aldi supermarket, about 15 minutes away by train or car from Lenk. Expect to spend approximately CHF 100 per week per person for grocery shopping. Plus, we'll organize common dinners so you can savor local raclettes and fondues together!
Already convinced? Please feel free to contact us! We'll continue to address more of your questions in future newsletters, but we hope these answers have given you a better understanding of what awaits you here in Lenk.
See you soon, and take care!
Warm regards,
Andy and the Lenk Workation Team
