Some people live such a life which touches so many people they end up legends even after their death. Princess Diana is undeniably one of the legends, she did a lot of good deeds in her life all the while sporting some of the most royal gems made just for her. These jewelry pieces piece have become a staple in history and will long live in her memory. One of the most captivating and truly one our favorite pieces from her collection is the large Sri Lankan Sapphire choker that she wore so often. This pendant was first given in form of a brooch by Queen Mother, as the large oval sapphire gracefully set around flawless diamonds. Diana converted the brooch into a seven strand pearl choker and definitely modernized the look. Many jewelry pieces are recreated to look like this choker even today, and sapphires are used more often now in engagement rings because of her classic look.
