Be Legendary!

Below are the words to a song named "Legendary" by the Christian Rock group Skillet. I was working today and listening to music as I always do while I work and this song came on. It reminds me of how important it is to never stop trying to improve.

I remember the first years at PennFleet, it was one obstacle after another. One roadblock after another. One, two, three sleepless nights after another and another. This permit, that permit, OSHA, Township, bank. More forms they needed filled out, another requirement, a reason I needed to tear down everything we had built and start again. The victories were few, but when they came, they built the foundation for what is PennFleet today.

Sometimes running a business, the pressure builds and builds and builds. Of course, the people that can handle pressure under the gun are the ones that will succeed. Most times your employees never know how many irons you have in the fire, they just need your support. And no matter what is going on, you need to give them your support.

I don't use this song to say I think I am legendary, I use this song to motivate myself to be legendary. It really is a conscious choice. Be legendary or just be. You decide.
