I agree with some of this (what a legal technologist is), but find a recommendation of “just get one of each” to be simplistic. To Sudha’s point, the need of now is for people who can do both. I both agree and struggle with this too because I do not believe that hybrid roles breed success in emerging professions, or will yield the success metrics leadership want to see fast enough.? process improvement and savings, while important, are not strategic. Tech is. If I had one chip to bet with, it would be on tech.?
