This legal battle raises questions about the use of litigation funding in divorce cases and the implications it can have for both parties.

CMA set to probe will-writers?

It’s been 10 years since Lord Chris Grayling chose not to make will-writing a reserved legal activity. Although many wills are drafted by regulated lawyers, anyone can actually write one, with the service going unregulated for years.?

Thought leader?

It’s no secret that care home costs are pretty hefty – and in many cases, people have to release equity from their homes to fund this expense. Any financial assessment for care home fees takes into account your pensions, assets, benefits and savings. If these total above £23,250, you’re expected to fund your care home fees yourself.??

Positive client feedback?

We always love receiving feedback from our clients, and we’re especially glad that Sonia was so happy with the result of her case:

“I was a little bit dubious about using a solicitor I found online, but I couldn’t find one that dealt with litigation in my local area. I read the reviews on TrustPilot and thought I’d give them a go. The solicitor I used was a gentleman called Usman Anwar. He sorted the problems I was having with a very unreasonable freeholder, and I am 100% pleased with the results. I would definitely use them again” – Sonia, Optimal Solicitors client

Here’s what Usman had to say:

“I’m pleased I could help Sonia resolve her issues with the freeholder and reach the optimal outcome.” Usman Anwar , Optimal Solicitors
