February 12 is more than a date—it’s a powerful reminder. Nine years ago, my father, Ennio Riga, left this world, but his impact remains. And today, as I celebrate his legacy, I also celebrate another milestone: the third anniversary of the Stay On Course Podcast!

My father often spoke about purpose, resilience, and staying true to one’s path. But one story he shared with me changed everything.

A Glimpse Beyond: A Mission Not Yet Complete

Through a terrible sickness, my father once told me he visited heaven. There, he was embraced by love and God’s peace. His loved ones told him, “Your mission has not been completed; you must go back.” That moment transformed him. He returned more determined than ever, knowing he had something left to do: finish his book.

He worked tirelessly, dictating his stories to his nurse, pouring his heart into ensuring his wisdom would live on. It was his way of making sure his experiences, struggles, and triumphs could continue to inspire others—even after he was gone.

That is the power of legacy. It’s not just what we achieve in our lifetime—it’s what we leave behind for others.
