AseptSoft can automatically upgrade legacy or deprecated P&IDs into modern high-functioning P&IDs. We take for example an AutoCAD Standard P&ID. It only contains blocks of geometry for valves and other equipment, like lines for pipes, but no actual valves, pipes and engineering items. The TAGs and diameters can only be found as plain texts nearby each valve, tank, etc. AseptSoft automatically recognizes the valves, the tanks, and their corresponding tags, sizes and other information which is graphically visible in the P&ID. Afterwards, it can automatically complete the list of equipment and the BOM (Bill of Materials). Furthermore, it uses AI and geometrical analysis to understand the connections between valves and pipes, as well as from equipment to pipes, and enables you to use advanced operational process design functions over the P&ID. Thus you can start opening and closing the valves, and you will see the path of the fluid automatically adjusting over the now high-functioning P&ID. All of this with no manual input from your side.
