Legacy of Pat Tillman

Account Manager - Club Services at Arizona Cardinals Football Club
This Saturday I am participating in the 20th Annual Pat’s Run on April 13, 2024 – an event that honors the memory of American hero and former Arizona Cardinals player Pat Tillman while raising funds to support and invest in the Tillman Scholars carrying forward his legacy.
Growing up in a military family, the cause is something close to my heart. Pat Tillman lived by his convictions and wasn't afraid to give up his security and status as a professional athlete to pursue a call on his life to serve. The impact Pat made gets to the core of why I have spent my life playing, and now working, in sports. Sports go far beyond just the game and give such a unique platform to inspire hope and drive change in a community. Pat Tillman's jersey sits in the training facility of the Arizona Cardinals to this day to serve as a reminder to employees of the team to pause and reflect on life to ask, "Am I being the best I can be? What can I give? Is what I am doing aligning to the passion that drives me?" Sports offer an avenue for these conversations to happen - whether that's on the playing field, in the workplace, or in your own home. I believe the impact those conversations leave outlive any wins or losses in a stat book.

I'd encourage you to check out more of Pat's story?here.
The Tillman Scholars are a select group of service members, veterans, and military spouses to whom the foundation grants academic scholarships to pursue their dreams of continued service – both in and out of uniform. They are creating positive change in the fields of medicine, law, business, education, the arts, and more. This year, I’ve signed up to raise funds to support the Tillman Scholars. If you feel similarly moved by the cause, my ask is that you would consider contributing. You can participate here.
