The Legacy of First National Bank
Ramsons doesn’t chase projects, instead, we chase clients. We don’t want to build you a building, we want to be your builder. This means we seek long-term relationships. And one of these long-term relationships is with Paragould’s First National Bank. Our first project was the Jonesboro branch at Elk Park followed immediately by a replica in Corning. Both projects were completed ahead of schedule and under budget. The Corning Banking Center won the prestigious Associated Builders and Contractors, “Excellence in Construction Award”.
After those two successful projects, Ramsons was hired to construct the Paragould Operations Center and then the multi-story First National Bank Financial Park in Jonesboro’s thriving Hilltop area. The architect, Little Rock’ WD&D, describes this project as a “58,000-square-foot structure encased with a glass and metal skin and abundant natural light to provide visitors and tenants with remarkable views in every direction. The building’s five-story interior contains a large skylight in the atrium and a unique circulation path overlooking the lobby. Outside the building, the financial park offers a view of several ponds and cascading water features. The design is a new standard for modern office space in Northeast Arkansas.” Ramsons completed both projects ahead of schedule and under budget.
Today, Ramsons is serving as Construction Manager on the bank’s most ambitious project to date: the redevelopment of multiple city blocks and an addition/renovation to the main branch. When complete, the bank will have a complete Paragould campus that will also serve as a community park/greenspace. Construction is well underway and we expect an ahead-of-schedule completion.
