No matter who we are or what we do in our life, we will leave a legacy. The real question is will it be positive or negative? You might not know the name Pete Frates but he was the 27-year old inspiration behind The ALS Viral Ice Bucket Challenge.?While it does not matter if you know his name, Pete’s impact will live on for everyone who has been impacted by ALS. What will people say about you when you are no longer here?

The older we get, these are the questions that we often ponder.?What legacy will we leave, and what will people say about us when we are no longer alive to control the narrative??As we prepare to introduce the REST concept, we are on a mission to “leave the World a little better off than when we got here”.?We understand that the average life expectancy of a homeless person in the USA is just 50 years. While we will not solve the issue, we can impact the community with STR.

Our society is struggling with homelessness …and we all need some rest.?While this may not seem like a lofty goal for those who are not facing the concept of not knowing where to put their head down at the end of the night, we know it is imperative to the homeless.

As a company, we are dedicating (donating) 10% of our profits to the “Take a REST Foundation”, plus other money we plan to raise, to support the homeless. Our goal is to raise $10 million in the fund to create an endowment that will be awarded in perpetuity.?This fund will be housed at the Dayton Foundation, Dayton, OH.?

REST’s legacy is to be part of the solution. Making a difference in people's lives, just because it is the right thing to do.?
