Did you go to NAB this year? (Full disclosure, I did; lol)
I spent two full days walking the floor, checking out new pieces of technology and their fit to the LED world, and sneaking in some networking conversations with end users while on site for the Watchfire mission.
During my walks, I noticed several pieces of technology that will assist the LED sports space.
Namely ~
JVC | New Connected Camera switcher ( Dan Skirpan, CTS )

Granted, these are just a few quick items, but the important topic is how technology is evolving and assisting the sports side of things. As we know, the sports space is growing, becoming more sophisticated while automating operations and becoming reliably more multi-faceted.
Part of my job at Watchfire is to keep an eye on technology, be aware of those trends, and be ready to assist the end user as those questions arise to determine needs quickly. I always tell end users, "We're not the type of people that will let you buy a Cadillac and then drop off the keys. We will sit in the passenger seat with you during this process." Only a few vendors take that approach; however, that can/could be defined as being passionate about our products and end users. (Watch this to understand more...)
Remember that many LED vendors take a "drop it off, and we're done here" approach. At Watchfire , we will be cognizant of the technology touching the LEDs and their final functionality. (Which is why we were at NAB!)
To reach out for more details on the technology or the LED sports space, don't hesitate to shoot me a private message or schedule a call here.
