LED March Newsletter - "Brighter Things"
NIGHT & DAY
The first quarter of 2024 has been quite interesting here at the SLG Lighting offices. From a series of new products, product lines, and a few promotions we've been gearing up for an impactful Q2 - Q3 which is generally our top-performing months for sales.
Q1 was a little different as well with a considerable boost of additional sales revenue than 2023 which is a signal for an even stronger Q2-Q3.
What does that really mean in the everyday world of lighting and lighting projects?
Well it produces amazing real-world results and case studies on the significant impact of LED lighting from a quality brand.
Our Regional Sales Manager Brian A. Garner- LC, CLEP? recently worked with our reps in Georgia to help a local strip center see the light and convert to LED lighting.
This before photo was taken revealing a lot of dark spots and all around "shady" environment - something that can be harder to witness at ground level.
After an LED update with our performance area light series (ALW) the difference was as clear as night and day.
The newly lit, well-balanced parking lot not only brought out more of the inviting landscaping but also boosted the safety and security of the strip center.
The reality of the shopper's mindset is that they have to feel comfortable and a well-lit, inviting environment is a HUGE part of the customer's journey. Having a well-lit parking lot is not only great for business it's also a benefit to the community as it brings up the total value of the area.
Jobs like the one above are just 1 example of how LED lighting changes lives and communities. I speak for everyone here at SLG Lighting when I say we're honored to be a part of that experience.
NEW TERRITORY SALES MANAGER
Allan Harts started with SLG 3 years ago handling inside sales and customer support. His years of experience selling cars and in the electrical distribution industry made him an ideal candidate to make the move to Territory Sales Manager working with our biggest manufacturing rep.
We value promoting from within and rewarding hard work and dedication - both of which Allan exemplifies.
CONTROL THE OUTCOME
We are fully committed to supporting wireless lighting controls for every customer and every scenario. Part of that commitment is in our new controls flexible troffer retrofit kit the TDRK series (Click here for the product page)
While we have improved the glare and appearance of our standard white goods troffer, this series also includes a built-in receptacle that is 2.5 mm plug-in controls ready.
This series fits between our usual contractor-grade selectable output troffer and our full Bluetooth driver, controls out-the-box, troffer series, giving you and your customers a flexible approach to lighting controls.
We offer our line of twist-lock, plug-in sensors as a no-fuss adder that becomes quick to quote and quick to bid.
The TDRK series marks the first series of what will prove to be an ideal mix for customer-focused, control-ready fixtures that give you a spectrum of options featuring shared sensor adders.
