Lecturing on World Heritage at Nankai University's College of Tourism and Service Management, Tianjin, China
Thanks to my friend and ICOMOS International Cultural Tourism Committee colleague, Professor Rouran Zhang, I have been lecturing at his university over the past week on tourism at indigenous World Heritage sites, as well as the marketing challenges faced by these venues, using Ottawa's Rideau Canal as a case study. There are a number of very capable students in the program, who could contribute some useful insights and initiatives towards destination management at Chinese World Heritage sites. Xie xie!
