Lecturing at Catholic Foundation of Applied Sciences Munich

HopeNow team had the honor of being invited to a lecturing activity dedicated to combating human trafficking held at Catholic Foundation of Applied Sciences Munich (KSH) to share our knowledge and expertise in the fight against human trafficking.

During our recent visit to KSH, HopeNow had the honor of having two of our team members at the forefront of this endeavor. Michele Mildwater, the esteemed founder of HopeNow, and the dedicated social worker Tia Walters, collaborated to lead a comprehensive three-day course centered around the theme of "Social Work and Human Rights: Working with Survivors of Human Trafficking."

Our educational program delved into various aspects of human trafficking, offering valuable insights and knowledge to the eager participants. The course covered a broad spectrum of topics, including the historical context of human trafficking in Europe, the legal and political dimensions of combating human trafficking, identifying key indicators of trafficking, and the therapeutic and counseling work necessary to support survivors. We also examined current trafficking trends and emerging challenges in the field.

We are delighted to report that our time at KSH was exceptionally rewarding. The engagement and enthusiasm exhibited by the students were remarkable throughout the entire three-day course. Their active participation and eagerness to learn reinforced our commitment to raising awareness and fostering a deeper understanding of the critical issue of human trafficking.

At HopeNow, we believe that knowledge is a powerful tool in the fight against human trafficking, and our collaboration with institutions like KSH underscores our dedication to sharing our expertise with the world. We are immensely proud of our team members, and the remarkable students who participated in this enlightening experience.

Together, we continue to work tirelessly to combat human trafficking, protect survivors, and promote human rights. Thank you to KSH for their ongoing support, and we look forward to many more fruitful collaboration in the pursuit of a world free from human trafficking.
