Lechers and Sexual harassment !

There are enough frustrated men looking to have sadistic pleasure. Most of them may be in higher positions in organizational hierarchy.   Many of them seem to be good in their professional life and the management  trusts/respects them. And then this success may go to their head and the Satan in him seem to come out confidently.

Take a  case of a senior  employee  with wife and kids (including a daughter). No one may suspect him to be a lecher. And then he may notice a new recruit or a shy and vulnerable woman. When no one is around he may talk sex or touch.

Many of these lechers seem to have realized that email, SMS, chat, whatsapp and FB posts are dangerous as they leave the proof of their advances that may land them in trouble.  

If the lecher is only talking sex, one can record on mobile phone and produce it as a proof. But one wishes to stick to traditional and 'proven touch' concepts, it is difficult to catch him red handed. This person may find or create a situation where no one catches him in action and touch the victim. 

Do they get pleasure is touching a girl? I doubt. If the lecher gets excited by touching a female, he must be leaking in his pants when he is sitting with his wife touching him?

Now the problem is how can a girl face the situation?

Can an entry level girl complain to some one higher? I bet  the management will support a senior person blindly as there will never be a proof of this lecher's activity. Can she fight and stay in the same organization? I bet  - No. Then what?  Either be bold , complain and spoil her own career and get out of that organization? Or simply get used to it and avoid  facing the lecher  alone? 

Management can not ask all girls in the office if  a certain 'gentleman' is trying to molest them.No one will come out in open and still want to work there.

Though we call ourselves educated, it is sad to see the same educated people behaving so badly. 

If some one  brings the lecher's activity to the notice of the management and can they have a system of monitoring the lecher without him noticing?   Say set up a secret cam in his cabin and check if he is watching porn or touching some one coming to his cabin? 

What if  the complaint is proven?  Will they sack him and disqualify for life to work in that profession? What about the damage done to some girls who  were in shock when he stuck them with obscene behavior? 

I wish the law allows us to chop their b**ls and give them to him so that the lecher can play with them when his hands itch to touch a girl !! :-)

Anyone who faced such situations may post, so that we can collectively expose lechers !

Ramesh. Do look at the new anti- harassment act passed in 2014. Things have improved a lot. If a company doesn't form a committee to anonymously listen to complaints and if the employee makes a police complaint the directors can be arrested. The law is very powerful. This was the law under which the tehelka guy was arrested.
