Leaving the Sprinklr life behind: Taking forward all the lessons and memories

Three years!

That’s how long I spent at Sprinklr, and in those years, I learned that growth isn’t just about producing more—it’s about evolving with the rhythm of the business, understanding its pulse, and pushing the boundaries of what you thought was possible.

And, of course, learning that the phrase "sent back for rework" can haunt you forever. Forever is an exaggeration, here, lol.

When I first walked into the vibrant Sprinklr office, I knew this wasn’t going to be just another job. Some places, people and companies have that vibe. They are much more than what meets the eye.

The buzz in the air, the sheer energy around me—it felt like a startup's passion, but with the strategic discipline of an established SaaS leader. If there’s one thing I learned from that first day, it’s that the coffee was as strong as the Wi-Fi—because without both, nothing would get done.

I could gulp down Americanos for free and get a lot of work done...

Thanks to Naveen Mahadevan and Yugal Pandey , I settled down comfortably. We were the engagement pod and were responsible for the product suite, Sprinklr Marketing if I remember correctly. Naveen was my manager, Yugal my Sprinklr buddy, the best I could have asked for,

Thanks to Kirti Sharma for giving me such an engaging start...

All this happened in the first two months of 2022, and then I got into Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli to study strategic management. As part of my New Year Resolution of learning a sport, I took up boxing. Oh! my goodness, the trio of a new job, boxing and attending classes drove me to sheer exhaustion almost every day. I slept well though and I had supportive colleagues, kudos to the Sprinklr culture and it's core values,

It’s OK. Be fearless. Sprinkle, don’t shout. Keep moving forward. Fix it, don’t complain. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever give up. Ever! Passionately, genuinely care.

In the better half of 2022, I shifted to Nidhish Rajan 's team and got to work on some interesting stuff over the next one year,

From collating a list of influencers and reaching out to them to covering events and webinars to collaborating with stakeholders like Raghavendra Rao and getting thought leadership blogs out, like this one we wrote on customer self-service- Customer Service Strategy With Self Serve.

In between I took some lessons from Ashmita Tamta .

I also had the pleasure to work alongside Sravani G. and Priyanka Malik who are great content marketers themselves.

In the second half of 2023, I switched to Ruchi Madan 's team and till December 23, 2024, my last day as a Sprinklrite, I worked with her. I had the pleasure of working alongside great colleagues- Aishwarya Suresh Aksheeta Tyagi Despina Singh Pradeep Vasudev , Jayadeep Subhashis , Dileep Mallick

You can spot a lot of them here.

And we all were lead by Aishwarya Krishnamurthy who joined as an associate director in August, 2023.

The hustle team

This is our stylish version with suits and gowns. This was the award and cultural night last year, wait no, way back in 2023. How time flies!

The hustle team but in suits

Checkout their blogs, all of them are amazing B2B writers and bring a personalized touch to their content assets. A much needed quality in a world full of AI clutter.

And a huge shoutouts to our sharp product marketers, Ramana Abhishek Pavithra Krishnaswamy , Harith Venkitakrishnan Shekhar Teny and Spandana Kodali

And my favorite, the design team- Jayant Mathew , thanks for your guidance!

And Deepika Ramji for being such a great soul...

And my design friends, Pavan Kulkarni , Shabna J , Vishal Kapoor , Bebin Shaji

Working alongside these individuals, I quickly realized that growth wasn’t just personal; it was collective.

Also, while working alongside with them, I realized Pradeep Vasudev fell in love with the very jovial Vanipriya Moorthi , a perfect example of how love seeps in through the tight windows of deadlines when it gives you a breather in the form of offsites. Both of them are getting married soon...

Now, whether it was the spirited debates with my fellow content creators, where we disagreed on literally everything in our heads but nodded yes on camera——or the strategy sessions with product managers that felt like I was playing a game of “guess what they actually mean,” each interaction was a lesson I forgot but then we had those team recordings, those were helpful.

At times "How to Survive Endless Sessions"—but somehow, I came out smarter. Or at least, I like to think so.

The Sprinklr Culture: Where People Make the Difference

The heart of Sprinklr’s culture lies in its people.

I’ll never forget meeting Jan Zlotnick , what an incredible human with loads of energy, see for yourself,

Jan Zlotnick, the life of Sprinklr parties...

Under Jan Zlotnick , Nathan Bennett and Kirti Sharma we did the Sprinklr writer's certification, and I got some great marks. A 20 out of a 25. Rohitkumar Nair presented me with the certificate and that was such an honor.

Issac Thomas rocks

I admire the screen presence and presentation skills of Rehone Gozly, MBA .

Check for yourself here-

In the later half of 2023, and whole of 2024, we extensively worked with the digital marketing team on organic lead generation publishing SEO optimized blogs. I got to work with Shankar Pillay , Ashish Parida and Nirnai Nevrekar , we as a team were led by Bhargav Chandrababu .

And, Bhargav as a leader was just so incredible, hungry for ideas and his mighty vocabulary impresses me to this day. We eventually became a part of Bhargav's team in the very 1st quarter of 2024 which basically gave pace to the whole organic lead generation engine.

Anyways, I really don't want to go all technical in this blog, want to keep it as personal as I could.

Of all the 399 things I did in Sprinklr, these are my favorite projects: -

  1. The social listening tool I did with Sathwik Shetty and Aishwarya Krishnamurthy , that was fun and an insightful project.
  2. The contact center recession playbook, I wrote taking insights from Raghavendra Rao ,you can read about it, here.
  3. Covering an event through a blog was fun, like the CX Connect blog, here. Thanks to Hannah Tyler for that.
  4. There was this short movie thing we did for our first offsite directed and ideated by Uttara Rao , that was incredible just because of the amount of laughs and creativity involved. I am still searching for that short film in my iPhone vault and Google Photos.
  5. And the rest 395, they are great but we have to pick our favorites after all.

Special thanks to Call Centre Helper Magazine for all the incredible mentions, there were days when you are just hustling through, and BOOM,

A MENTION!

And you decide to write a great piece...

Special mention- I got to work with Srishti Gautam on a series of landing pages.

I got to work with Godhuli M. Subha Sugumar Radhika Bhujwala on blogs and newsletters. Our team wrote it, they uploaded it and that was one hell of a job.

Colleagues whom I used to see around but never got a chance to work with unluckily

Pooja Sriram - Never got a chance to work with her but I did get to see her shooting for a video on knowledge base whose script was derived from my blog, you can read the blog, here.

Watch the video, here-

Interacting with Jordana Gustafson Wright was fun and she writes amazing customer success stories, you can check out her column, here.

I was lucky to experience wine tasting with Arnaud Tamisier , Cheyenne Dermody and Drishika Muthanna during our 2023 offsite.

I became great friends with Dileep Mallick though we rarely worked together.

I always felt Mayank Trivedi is a genius but we did collaborate on a group project during the offsite.

And how can I forget Tashu Aggarwal , she was one of my interviewers but I never got to work with her, though we did play a game of foosball, Tamanna Deshwal was there too.

Dileep Mallick is the one with dark shades

I always wanted to make a video with Pallavi S.Poojary but sadly that never happened.

This has been quite a trip through the memory lane and I feel exhausted.

Learning the Language of SaaS

As a senior content writer, the real challenge at Sprinklr was speaking the language of SaaS. This wasn’t just about writing compelling stories—it was about understanding a product ecosystem that was intricate, multi-layered, and global.

I had to make sense of complex technical concepts and break them down into digestible, valuable content that not only informed but inspired action. Writing for a B2B audience meant mastering the art of precision and relevance—something I learned to do with increasing flair. And yes, I learned to make customer experience management sound sexy.

One of the highlights of my role was creating content around Sprinklr Service, the CCAAS product that’s reshaping how brands engage with customers. Writing about it wasn’t just about explaining its features; it was about telling a story—how it could help businesses transform their customer service, streamline processes, and deliver experiences that were as seamless as they were impactful.

The challenge wasn’t just to inform—it was to position Sprinklr Service as the ultimate solution for modern customer experience challenges.

I grew accustomed to nailing SEO optimization—something I hadn’t mastered before Sprinklr. By embedding the right keywords, and optimizing blogs for organic traffic.

I began to see the true power of content that not only spoke to the customer’s pain points but was also discoverable. It was a lesson in the importance of data-driven content strategy, something that is critical in the SaaS world where every click counts.

Alright!

I am yapping a lot about my professional prowess, let's get back to something more personal and fun...

I experienced two offsites and the first offsite is still my favorite just because I didn't expect a lot of fun and offsites are usually about presentations and a lot of them, we indeed did but that turned out to be fun too. And let me share two of the most iconic moments from the 2022 Sprinklr offsite,

Just because of how artistic it looks

And another reason why I loved the 1st offsite better because I got a picture with Ragy Thomas , one of the most charismatic human beings I have met and the founder of Sprinklr .

Watch his speeches, you will fall in love with SaaS and this term called, Unified-CXM.

The photo was blurry, so I made a video about it, benefits of owning an iPhone.

Now all of the above could have been summarized into a post but three years is a lot. And I believe life isn't a short film or a movie, its a sitcom with its share of drama and tragedies spanning seasons and decades.

Rest, all the B2B lessons for some other time, this was just a journal and now I am keeping my pen aside...
