Leaving the EU - Good, Bad or Half & Half?
So we have all woken up this morning and heard the news. To most the Leave Vote has been a surprise. So what does this mean to us? What happens next?
Well there still seems to be a few options available to David Cameron who has always opposed leaving the EU and never wavered.
He could just take the referendum into consideration and actually decide not to leave the EU. This would of course be an unpopular decision judging by the referendum outcome.
Cameron could trigger the 'article 50' which he has vowed to do. This would begin a 2 year negotiation with Europe which would 100% conclude with the UK leaving the EU. This basically puts all the power to the EU in the negotiation process.
We can outright leave the EU and sink or swim.
Or we can try to enter into a half-and-half, purgatory agreement similar to Norway.
What we do know is that the Sterling is down to a low that hasn't been seen in three decade and the FTSE is set to drop 8.5pc.
So what are your thoughts? Which option is best?
And do you think Cameron has made a big mistake and should step down. Who would be the next Prime Minister?
Boris or Farage???
