Leave It All On The Field

Leave It All On The Field

"Leave it all on the field." We football players have been saying this motivational phrase for a long time. These 6 simple words contain the essence of just about every inspiring half-time speech ever given. It's the ultimate reminder that life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. Time is our most precious resource and also our greatest opponent. Time is unstoppable. And the only way that we can win is to play as hard as we can until the whistle blows. Win or lose, when the game is over, you must walk off the field with nothing left to give. Finish the game, and finish the season, and finish your career with NO REGRETS. Give yourself the gift of knowing that you left it all on the field.

"Right at the start of our lives someone should tell us that we are dying...maybe then we would live life to the limit. Do it I say. Do it now! Do whatever you want to do, because there are only so many tomorrows." - Michael Landon
