The affected areas are under the control of government forces.
At least 120 people were killed in a series of attacks that shook the areas under the control of government forces in Syria, while the US continues to press for declaring a truce announcing a "temporary" Cessation of Hostilities Agreement. The extremist group Islamic State claimed the responsibility for a double suicide attack in Homs, where at least 57 people were killed according to an NGO. Other 62 people were killed in at least three attacks, which took place near a sacred Shi'ite location in south of Damascus. Into this bloody backdrop and despite the failed attempts to enter into force a ceasefire in that country convulsed by civil war, the US Secretary of State John Kerry announced in Amman "one principle tentative agreement "with Russia on the terms of a ceasefire, which" could be implemented within next coming days.
Deadly Attacks ' a double suicide attack occurred today in the district under the control of Syrian forces in Homs, killing at least 57 people mainly civilians, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also dozens were injured. The Islamic State in a statement issued claimed responsibility, and pointed out that two fighters leading "two vehicles trapped with explosives (...) targeted concentrations "that were underway in Accra neighborhood, inhabited mostly the Alawites. They are the heaviest stock in an attack of this kind in the city from October 2014, when 55 people, including 49 children, were killed in a double suicide attack in front of a school. a few hours later, at least 62 people lost at least three attacks, including one with a car bomb near a Shiite holy site in the south of Damascus.
"The attacks coincided with the time that schools were closing, “killing many students" as was clarified. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for this bloodshed. According to announcement, two suicide bombers blew up their explosives in the district Sagienta Zeinamp. The state television network and the NGO Syrian Observatory for Human Rights pointed out that there were at least three attacks simultaneously. At the same time, ongoing fighting between government forces and rebel, which have been weakened due to the strengthening of the Islamic State and the forehead Al Nosra. Conflicts also are taking place between Kurdish forces and jihadists, or even rebel against jihadists.
Expecting Obama and Putin, besides Russia, the international coalition under US leadership conducts air bombardments since 2014. Since one week ago Turkey bombards Kurdish Syrian forces near its borders. This very complex situation that has been created makes it difficult to implement a ceasefire agreement. Today in Amman, Jordan, John Kerry tried to appear optimistic and announced during a press conference, that again spoke on the phone with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. "We came to a tentative agreement in principle on the terms of a cessation of hostilities that could be put in effect next time.” ”This is not yet done and I predict that President (Barack) Obama and President (Vladimir) Putin could discuss in the coming days to try to complete this effort, "he added.” Today we are closer to a ceasefire "assured the US State Secretary, who calls for several days Moscow to help in order to have a truce with the termination mainly of Russian bombings.
In my humble opinion I don’t think that this will happen soon as we have several groups who do not listen like, the ISIS, the extremes groups like Al-Qaeda and Al-Nusra and the extremes rebels, including Turkey which continues apart from the bombardment to smuggle each and every day thousands of young single refugees to the Eastern Greek islands under the eyes of the NATO Force!!!!! I recently heard that into the small Greek Island Kastelorizo, which is the southern Island of Greece and has its economic zone with a lot of oil and gas, has 250 inhabitants, the refugees reached to a number of 1000!!!
Please my good friends put down your minds your critical thinking and what you know from History and from what is going on. Isn’t it a massive invasion from Turkey to Greece and European Union????
Let’s become serious and stop talking about cease fire….what kind of ceasefire?????????????????
Only the Russian stop of Bombardment? What about our FRIEND!!!!!!!!! Turkey!!!!!! and her most visible even to the blinds plans………………………Who is going to stop the rest like ISIS etc.……….our coalition ?????????? I don’t think so as it’s still not working as since 2014 ISIS has become bigger and has followers all over the world.
I have been an Operational lanner and Director for NATO, if you ask me I will tell you what needs to be done and believe me in less than 6 months all crisis will end for good.
