At Learnnovators?, we echo Cammy Bean's observations on the evolution of eLearning authoring tools quoted above.
The transition from bespoke solutions to user-friendly, templatized platforms has indeed opened doors for broader participation in eLearning creation. However, this accessibility also brought challenges, notably the quality of content produced.
With the advancements in technology, especially AI, the pace and scale of eLearning content production can skyrocket. But without the nuanced understanding and strategic insight of experienced learning designers, there's a risk of compromising on quality for speed and cost-efficiency.
It's imperative that as we embrace these technological strides, we anchor them in the expertise and judgment of skilled learning designers. Their role becomes even more critical in guiding AI to serve not just as a tool for efficiency but as an ally in crafting meaningful, impactful learning experiences.
But, according to the folks in our community, which is the best approach to ensure that AI-enhanced eLearning tools maximize learning quality rather than compromise it? ?? This is what we got intrigued to find out in the past week.
