Isabella, currently pursuing a business degree in Germany, has joined our Office Administration team, gaining invaluable experience in the facilities management industry.

Tell us a little about your time & experience at SOS Group.

My time at SOS Group has been an incredible experience, and I had the opportunity to learn a lot. The team is also very friendly, and everyone has been incredibly supportive whenever I needed assistance.

What specific projects were you most excited about working on during your internship?

What I really enjoyed during my internship was the opportunity to work across different departments, like Accounts and Human Resources. My tasks varied depending on the department, and each day was different, challenging, but also rewarding.

How has SOS Group helped you settle into living in Dublin?

The SOS Group team has been incredibly supportive in helping me settle in. Moreover, from the very first day, I felt excited to return to the office the next day. It’s a great feeling to look forward to going to work, and that made settling into both the company and Dublin much easier.

How do you see this experience with SOS Group impacting your career?

This experience has boosted my confidence in speaking English and given me valuable business experience through various projects. I’m excited to pursue similar opportunities in the future to continue developing my skills.

What advice would you give to other students considering an international internship?

My advice would be to fully enjoy the experience and make the most of it, as you never know if you'll get the chance to do it again. Also, be friendly and ask questions whenever you have them—there’s always someone ready to help you with any challenges you face.
