Learning SAP without Training
Taking formal training is The Best, but NOT The Only, way to learn SAP Skills. Here's my 2-steps approach;
1) Getting to know the CONTENT of a course, and
2) Exploring the DOCUMENTATION of each topic.
You can know the first through training website and the second from help portal.
Here's how;
1) Go to training.sap.com website, and look for the module of your interest. In the course information section, you'll find its content.
2) Now go to help.sap.com, and search the topic. You'll be directed to its complete documentation, which you can use to learn the skill.
An example;
You want to learn about SAP SuccessFactors Platform, therefore, you follow the above approach.
At the training website, you find the course details;
The course information describes what is covered in the training;
Now you want to learn about 'Home Page' - one of the topics. Therefore, you go to the help portal and look for SAP SuccessFactors Platform documentation.
Within the 'Implement' section, you find the list of topics, including 'Managing the Home Page'.
After selecting the topic, you find its step-by-step documentation.
Now you can learn ANY of the SAP Modules.
