What is learning?

Learning is the process of acquiring information. There is different way of learning. The two more common are formal and informal learning.

Formal learning is a learning process, which has to do with acquiring ?knowledge based on facts, research and validation. The information given in a formal learning system is validated before distributed to the person learning the information.

In formal learning, the education system had been used to regulate the kinds of information given. In addition, there are different legal systems and laws set up to regulate the formal learning system. In most countries, there are government ministries established to regulate the learning system.

How is the information distributed?

In a formal learning system, the information or knowledge given are distributed based on qualifications and regulations. There are people who are trained to give those qualifications.

The trained or qualified individuals employed to give those information are to be educated enough to give such information. In addition, they are to give clean information. Meaning the information is to be validated and legally accepted, as a tool for learning in that system. ?The information is passed from one head to another head. ?Meaning what is passed on from one head to another head needs to be clean education or information. This is an important part of education. Education makes it possible to have the qualifications needed to pass on that information from one person to another. Unlike formal learning and informal learning systems had not proven to make a difference. I will elaborate more on the subject in the next line.

What is the advantage of formal learning.

Formal learning comes with many advantages and also some disadvantages. The advantages are very rewarding, if acquired at the highest level. Notwithstanding any level of formal learning is important.

For example. A high school education will help a person to read and write, but a college education or university education will give that person the skills needed for their career. ?Some of the most common advantages of formal learning are as follows.

The academy advantage of formal leaning is that the learning or education process follows a system of procedure. Such a system helps the learner to achieve the best outcome of the information given. ?

Formal learning is good for any area of life. In organization, business, religion, social and more. For learning is the best system of learning in the world.

The reason is Formal learning is the most respected kind of learning.? The reason is it follows a Partain of learning which is very professional and rewarding. The learning is based on professionalism, violation and true information. Below are some of the processes of formal learning

• Procedure/ the education or information are in a step-by-step order. It has a complete learning process on the subject matter.
• Method/ Technique, used in acquiring knowledge. It is format with analytical skills, computation, mathematics and logical thinking.
• System/ It is built will many different parts, that are related with each other’s. This is an interconnections, of the information, one field of knowledge to the other.
• Formula/ There are shorted ways of applying concept to bring out logical solutions and answer to an problem. The system of formula can lead into good decision making and answer to problems.

Disadvantage

• Expensive/ There are so many dollars needed to have a formal education. Example a PhDs will cost thousands of dollars to acquire.
• Discrimination/ The are many discriminations against those with high educational or formal learning education. The reason is many of the people without formal education are afraid the those knowledge will learn or outsmart them in many things or areas of life. In so doing they discriminated against them. Power is another strong reason why those who will formation learning are discriminated against. People who want to have power in the easiest way fight against them.
• Time consuming/ formal learning takes time to acquire. A higher leave of formation can take up to 20 years or more. However, it makes a difference from those not formally educated.

?Informal learning.

In formal learning is the opposite of formal learning. It does not follow the path of learning process used in the formal learning system. This makes informal learning an disadvantage to society. The reason is, it have no order and professionalism.? In a informal learning system people learn at will. They do not take record of the path of the learning process. In addition there are too many try and errors in an informal learning system.

Disadvantage:

Many organization or business suffered the lost of millions of dollars because of people not having the right skills and knowledge employed to do the job. An informal person will believe they are doing it right until you should them the formal way of doing it. They see the difference and professionalism in how formal learning worked. In many of the losses to company or business area base on try and error from work without research before development.

The formal learning system follows research, analysis before development. This had made the world have new ideas and new inventions in the world. ?Many informal learners see the invented work of formal learning as magic. However, it is only logical and the best method of carrying out a task.
